This is the Frequently Asked Questions (or FAQs) section of Bakes & Brownies. I have tried to answer the most common questions that you might ask.
Delivery
Can you deliver to the United Kingdom?
Yes. I currently use Royal Mail 1st Class. Shipping costs are added at checkout.
Can you deliver outside of the United Kingdom?
No. The quality of the product would deteriorate with more lengthy delivery times.
Can I have the goods delivered using a method other than Royal Mail 1st Class?
Yes. Please message me and tell me what you require.
Packaging
What packaging do you use?
We obviously need to use packaging to send goods by mail. We use paper bags, cardboard boxes and mailing bags, for postal delivery. To this end we try to use the most environmentally friendly packaging options. Packaging materials are either from sustainable or recycled materials and all packaging is recyclable and, in some case, even re-usable.

Is the packaging environmentally friendly?
Yes. All packaging is made from eco-friendly, sustainable or recycled materials and is biodegradable.

What packaging options are there?
The current packing quantities are 4, 6 and 12. A quantity of 12 will, currently, come as two boxes of 6.
Dietary requirements
Obviously my standard products do not suit everyone’s dietary needs. If you have any questions that are not covered below, please message me.
Do you have any gluten free products?
Yes. I can make any of my current products using gluten free flour and baking powder. Please message me with your requirements.
Do you have any vegan products?
Unfortunately, at the moment I do not have any vegan products but I am aiming to produce some in the future. Stay tuned.
Allergies
As with all foodstuffs, allergies can be a real concern. I make all of my products with ingredients that I know. If you have any questions that are not covered below, please message me.
Can you tell me the ingredients in your products?
Yes. I am happy to provide the detailed list of ingredients that I use. Please message me.
Do you make any products for people with celiac disease?
Yes. I can make many of my products using gluten free ingredients. I can provide details of the gluten free alternative ingredients, on request. Please message me with questions.
